Privacy Policy

This policy covers two kinds of people: workspace owners who sign up for Agentech Assistant to build an AI assistant over their own documents, and end userswho chat with a workspace owner's assistant through a public widget, shared link, or API. It does not cover third-party sites the widget is embedded on — their own privacy policy applies there.

Account & workspace data.Email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and workspace/assistant settings such as your assistant's persona and instructions.

Content you upload. Documents, spreadsheets, pasted text, images, audio, and URLs you add to your workspace, plus the text, embeddings, and metadata we derive from them so the assistant can retrieve and cite them.

Conversations. Messages sent to and from an assistant — both your own test conversations in the dashboard and conversations end users have with your public widget — so answers can cite sources and so usage can be measured.

Usage & billing data. How many messages and how much ingestion your workspace uses, and — for paid plans — a record of payments (currently processed manually, e.g. bank transfer or mobile wallet, and logged against your workspace by our team; we do not collect card numbers).

Technical data. IP address, browser/device information, and usage events (page views, clicks) on this site and the dashboard, collected via Google Analytics and used only to understand product usage and diagnose problems.

• To operate your assistant: retrieving relevant passages from your documents and generating grounded, cited answers.
• To authenticate you and enforce workspace isolation, so one workspace can never see another's data.
• To meter usage against your plan or credit balance and bill accordingly.
• To send transactional email — registration codes, usage alerts when you're close to a limit — and, if you contact us, to reply.
• To monitor, debug, and improve the reliability of the service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded content or conversations to train public/general-purpose AI models.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service, each processing data only as needed to provide their piece of it:

• OpenAI — processes document text, images, audio, and chat messages to generate embeddings, transcriptions, and assistant replies. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.
• Vector database provider — stores the embeddings derived from your documents in an index isolated to your workspace, so retrieval never crosses workspaces.
• Email delivery provider — sends registration and account emails on our behalf.
• Error tracking & observability tooling — receives technical logs and error reports (not your document content) so we can fix bugs.

We do not share your data with other advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Agentech Assistant, our users, or the public.

Every workspace's data — documents, embeddings, and conversations — is isolated from every other workspace, enforced both at the database layer (row-level security keyed to your account and workspace) and in the vector store (a separate index or namespace per workspace). Support staff do not browse workspace content; access is limited to what is needed to investigate a support request you raise.

We keep your account, workspace, and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a document, it is removed from the vector index; if you want your entire account and its data removed, see our Delete Account page — this is currently a request handled by our team rather than an instant self-service action, and we aim to complete it within 30 days.

You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at agentech2026@gmail.com. If you are located somewhere with statutory data-protection rights (e.g. the EU/UK GDPR), those rights apply in addition to what's described here.

Agentech Assistant is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify workspace owners by email.
