Privacy Policy

Agentech Assistant is a product of Agentech, operated by Artificial Consciousness for Software Design and Production. Artificial Consciousness for Software Design and Productionis the company responsible for the personal data described in this policy — "we" and "us" below mean Artificial Consciousness for Software Design and Production. This policy covers two kinds of people: workspace owners who sign up for Agentech Assistant to build an AI assistant over their own documents, and end userswho chat with a workspace owner's assistant through a public widget, shared link, or API. It does not cover third-party sites the widget is embedded on — their own privacy policy applies there.

Account & workspace data.Email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and workspace/assistant settings such as your assistant's persona and instructions.

Content you upload. Documents, spreadsheets, pasted text, images, audio, and URLs you add to your workspace, plus the text, embeddings, and metadata we derive from them so the assistant can retrieve and cite them.

Conversations. Messages sent to and from an assistant — both your own test conversations in the dashboard and conversations end users have with your public widget — so answers can cite sources and so usage can be measured.

Usage & billing data. How many messages and how much ingestion your workspace uses, and — for paid plans — a record of payments (currently processed manually, e.g. bank transfer or mobile wallet, and logged against your workspace by our team; we do not collect card numbers).

Technical data. IP address, browser/device information, and usage events (page views, clicks, which features you use) on this site and the dashboard, collected with Google Analytics and PostHog and used only to understand product usage, improve it, and diagnose problems. We also keep where your first visit came from (for example the campaign or website that linked to us) in a cookie and, when you sign up, on your workspace. If you install the dashboard to your home screen, your browser keeps a random device ID that we use only to count installs and how often the app is opened, by platform (iPhone, Android or computer); we do not store your IP address or browser details with it.

Session recordings.We record how pages are used on this site (with PostHog and Microsoft Clarity) and in the dashboard (with PostHog only): mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and the page layout. Anything typed into a form is masked. In the dashboard, screens that show your customers' conversations, comments, leads, your documents, products, campaign recipients, and your keys are hidden from recordings entirely. The chat widget on your own website carries none of these tools, so your customers are never tracked or recorded by us.

• To operate your assistant: retrieving relevant passages from your documents and generating grounded, cited answers.
• To authenticate you and enforce workspace isolation, so one workspace can never see another's data.
• To meter usage against your plan or credit balance and bill accordingly.
• To send transactional email — registration codes, usage alerts when you're close to a limit — and, if you contact us, to reply.
• To monitor, debug, and improve the reliability of the service.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded content or conversations to train public/general-purpose AI models.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service, each processing data only as needed to provide their piece of it:

• OpenAI — processes document text, images, audio, and chat messages to generate embeddings, transcriptions, and assistant replies. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.
• Vector database provider — stores the embeddings derived from your documents in an index isolated to your workspace, so retrieval never crosses workspaces.
• Google Analytics (Google) — website and dashboard visit statistics.
• PostHog (hosted in the EU) — product usage events and session recordings for this site and the dashboard, as described in section 3.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — heatmaps and session recordings of this site only, not the dashboard.
• Email delivery provider — sends registration and account emails on our behalf.
• Error tracking & observability tooling — receives technical logs and error reports (not your document content) so we can fix bugs.

We do not share your data with other advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Agentech Assistant, our users, or the public.

Every workspace's data — documents, embeddings, and conversations — is isolated from every other workspace, enforced both at the database layer (row-level security keyed to your account and workspace) and in the vector store (a separate index or namespace per workspace). Support staff do not browse workspace content; access is limited to what is needed to investigate a support request you raise.

We keep your account, workspace, and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a document, it is removed from the vector index; if you want your entire account and its data removed, you can delete it yourself under Settings → Delete account in the dashboard. Nothing is removed for 7 days, during which you can cancel by logging in; on day 7 your account and every workspace you own are deleted, including documents, conversations, leads and connected channels. We keep billing records without your personal details, for accounting, and we keep a one-way hash of your email so a new account with it doesn't get another free trial. If you can't log in, see our Delete Account page to ask us by email.

You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at admin@agentech.tech. If you are located somewhere with statutory data-protection rights (e.g. the EU/UK GDPR), those rights apply in addition to what's described here.

Agentech Assistant is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify workspace owners by email.
